Description
Third Russell Tribunel
“Examination of Berufsverbote – or bans on employment in the public service on political grounds – occupied the first public session of Bertrand Russell Tribunal III, which is concerned with aspects of human rights in West Germany. The session was held in Harheim, on the outskirts of Frankfurt, in March-April 1978. This pamphlet includes the preliminary findings of the session and summaries of some of the papers by experts which were considered by the Tribunal members. Much of the session was devoted to consideration of individual cases of citizens who had been banned from public employment.”
