“As students we are privileged. Most people in society have not
had the opportunities to be educated that we have. Up to now, we
have used our education in the capacity of the nation’s elite. Our task
has been to manipulate the people and not to emancipate them.
I maintain that in order ro counteract this oppression of the people
by the elite, who allow themselves to be used in the interests of
the establishment, we must organise ourselves so that our struggle
and our science becomes political.”
