Description
“The concept of workers’ control presents both immediate and long-term solutions to the people’s problems, whether the problem is the fight with the engineering employers on the procedure agreement to replace the infamous York Memorandum, or whether it is the rights for shop stewards on the shop floor, or whether it is the fight for public ownership of industries and services. Workers’ control is concerned with the first level of the achievements that we have in industries and unions at the moment, and the achievement ultimately of workers’ power: the power to control our lives, our industries, and the country in which we live.”
